For years we have talked and dreamed about doing the Great Loop. Earlier this year, we decided to make that dream a reality. After finding the perfect boat and moving aboard, we are finally off on our adventure. While our usual crew is just the two of us, we are excited to share our adventure with family and friends. We are thrilled to welcome them aboard Hiatus Too!

We had a great time visiting family and friends in Grafton and Alton, IL after our trip down the Illinois River from Chicago

High school friends, college friends and dental travel friends all came to visit and we had a blast!

We had friends from back home cruise with us from Paducah, KY. up the Ohio River to the Cumberland River where we turned and cruised up the Cumberland River to Barkley Lock & Dam. We went up 51.5 feet in the lock to Lake Barkley where we spent a few days at Green Turtle Bay.

Our first Gulf Coast visitors joined us aboard at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL.
